SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries sassa status to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company level designed for intervention encounters a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who sassa take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all sassa status check shoppers and raise access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
